I've not yet finished reading this amazing story - hence the four star rating. Several things have impressed themselves on me. Judson's passion to preach and teach the Gospel in spite of his life constantly being in danger, is the first. Then the sacrifices he made for the sake of preaching and teaching the Gospel. Another was his endless patience in the face of mortal danger, to preach and preach the Gospel. There was no compromise in the way he went about his ministry. Content and narrative is very good. Multiple textual errors created a problem in smooth reading.
I had read another book on this man and this was just as good. An inspiring book for Christians to read.
Wonderful and inspiring book!! Highly recommend!
The book is poorly converted electronically, and there are errors. However it is a remarkable story of an amazing man of God who sacrificed everything to bring the gospel to the lost. I was especially moved by his deep introspection following the loss of his second wife, and the focusing effect of the depression that followed.
