Zoey has had a crush on Evan since they first met in high school, but has never acted on those feelings. She has always felt she wasn’t Evan’s type and their friendship means too much to her to jeopardize. At a Halloween party, Zoey meets Griffin, something Evan isn’t too happy about. Zoey and Griffin’s budding relationship grows into something Zoey never thought she would find, that four letter word, love. When she is ready to marry Griffin, Evan decides to let his true feelings be known. Ultimately, Zoey has to decide, marry the one the currently loves, or be with the one she’s always loved.

Well after reading some of the reviews from Goodreads this book didn't have the best of reviews. As I was reading this book I started thinking I was missing something. Like a huge chunk of the story was just missing. I just could not figure out how I was missing the time between Zoey and Griffin's relationship. They started dating and then they were getting married. Did I miss the dating???? Then Evan, always being there and then not. He was the best friend who was always there for her. So when I finally got to the end of the book like the last few chapters and Michelle Lee threw in the very interesting twist I was quite surprised. I would say what it was it I don't want to give away anything. All I could think of was did I just read what I thought I read? And the answer was yes I did!I am very happy with the book. I really liked the story and liked how this was not the typical best friend turned lovers story. I liked the twist she gave to this story.

A Four Letter Word edition by Michelle Lee Contemporary Romance eBooks Reviews
Easy read with a fantastic twist that will leave you reeling. The entire concept of this book is creative and the prologue alone will prove it.
Perfect read for my Valentines a Days reading. Very enjoyable . Loves stories with best friends falling in love with each other, then you will enjoy this.
Loved this book. The story captivated me and I found myself wanting more. The love is deep and strong, confusing and perfect. There's a great balance of character development and storyline that kept me rooting... well, no spoilers here. It ended how I wanted and I walked away from AFLW feeling happy and satisfied. Buy this book today.
Wow! I can honestly say I did not see coming what happened. Well, the main character story I did but not how it happened. I liked what happened though and I know others may not feel the same way. I fell fully in love with Zoey and Evan. When Zoey's heart broke, mine broke. When she was happy, I was happy. This was an amazing book. I'm sad it's over but it's my own fault for finishing it so fast. This is a MUST read!
Michelle is a friend of mine, and I don't like reviewing friend's works because I don't wanna get stuck having to lie and give them a good review 'cause I don't wanna hurt their feelings. Kinda like when someone wants to show you a picture of their boy/girlfriend or new baby and you have to say, "Oh! How cute!" even when the guy/girl/baby looks like an alien O_o But I loved this story. I laughed, I got mad & then I cried. Loved the ending. It was beautiful. Great job, Michelle! And I didn't even have to lie! ;)
This was actually a unique love story. Where there any surprises? No, not really (except for one twist that I won't give away). But it was a fresh take on a love story. I loved the characters, and if I was a crier then I would have gone threw a few tissues!!! I felt my heart breaking for both characters.
The only issues I had was sometimes there would be words missing or actually extra words. This would hurt the flow every once in awhile. I would have to re-read things a few times to figure out what it was supposed to be. But this wasn't a major issue just something that would pop up every so often.
As by the 4 stars - I would definitely recommend this book.

I really enjoyed watching the frienship / chemistry with the 2 main characters. I also LOVED the supporting characters. But most of the story was a dream / not real??!?! That really bugged me. The Prologue states Evan tells her how he feels on her wedding day but again, it wasn't real. I just felt cheated by that part. This wasn'ts for me, sorry.
